If you ever had problems getting some activity into your VA we might have a solution for you with our VA Chat module.

VA Chat is a simple chat extension for phpVMS allowing your pilots to communicate with eachother either via Private Messaging or in the Group Chat room.

All messages are stored locally in your own phpvms database.

Features:

• Pilots can send Private Messages to Online and Offline Users
• Users will be notified when they have got a new private message.
• Group Chatroom available to all pilots.
• Only Logged-In members of your own VA have access to the chat system.
• Staff members can view and delete the last 500 messages (group and private chat) from the phpvms admin center.
• The most common text emoticons will show up as images (eg. 🙂  😉  😛  😀   ….) (some basic php knowledge is required if you want to add more expressions/images than the included ones)
• URLs entered including http:// are recognized as links and clickable
• VAs who use our CCFTracker VA Edition (payware) will see messages posted in the flight logging client chat also in the groupchat on the website and vice versa.

The chat has no mobile theme and is deactivated on smartphones. Depending on the screen resolution it might however be available in landscape mode on tablets.
